All Night Prayer Vigil
Special occasion are ones we look forward to, cherish, and hope to experience again. Having a night dedicated especially to communication with God through prayer was indeed a special occasion. Our Prayer Vigil was a beautiful and inspiring event which allowed us to renew our spirits and minds while building lasting bonds with fellow believers. With all that is happening around us there is a great need for God’s grace and mercy to surround and protect us.
Approximately seven churches were represented there and we had a wonderful time together singing, sharing, eating and praying, praying, praying! Prayer requests were shared, a list was compiled, and then believers were divided into small prayer groups where they lifted up the requests they were to take before God. There was an outpouring of blessings as those present shared testimonies, songs, readings, praises and encouraging words.
We began our Prayer Vigil at 8:00 p.m. on November 24 and although we did not manage to stay awake until our target time of 6:00 a.m. we came close; 3:00 a.m.! Ms. Von and Ms. Clemmy did a commendable job planning and organizing this event. Thanks ladies for your hard work and desire to build God’s kingdom through prayer. We appreciate your initiative and although we did not get to see the sun rise together we did experience the Son rising in our hearts!!
