The Men’s Group, once again did a splendid job hosting and planning this year’s Mother’s Day service. There was a packed-house as over 60 mothers accompanied by their families were in attendance at their special service. The mothers thoroughly enjoyed all the activities the men had coordinated for them. The music was wonderfully led and the message shared by our pastor, Rev. Claudio Leal was well-appreciated. Due to time constraints he was only able to share a singe verse with the mothers. However he shared that single verse very well.
It is always nice to appreciate others and it is especially nice to do so on an occasion such as this. Special recognitions were given out to mothers in the congregation as a show of appreciation for contributions they have made to our church over the many years they have been a part of it. This serves as motivation for mothers as oftentimes their work is so tiring and constant that they wonder if they are indeed having an impact. Thanks Lisa for your thoughtfulness and also for making the church so beautiful.
Each mother present was also given a beautiful bag for them to take along with them when they do their shopping or when they just want to look good. It was a gorgeous bag with “Belize” written on it and the ladies were very happy with this gift. We only had one complaint about these bags: Men - we wanted to know how come we could only get one color.
To plan a service such as this for such a large crowd is no easy task and it was evident that the Men’s group put a lot of hard-work and preparation into it. To each person that had a part in this service a big “Thank You” from all the mothers.
