Board of Missions Special Visit

The Belize Methodist Protestant Conference was also blessed on February 15th - 25th with a visit from Rev. Charlie Joe Green, the Executive Secretary of the Board of Mission, Rev. Billy Frank Gerald, who was accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Fay Gerald. Rev. Charlie Joe Green, being on familiar territory, kept busy looking after various issues and coordinating the logistics of a visiting team who are building an Annex in Punta Gorda to house women prior to and after delivery of their babies. Mr. & Mrs. Gerald took time to visit all our churches and made themselves available to communicate with us the Board of Mission’s (BOM) goals for Belize as well as listened to the future plans of the Belize Conference. Our church was especially blessed by their visit as they committed to contribute US$10,000 from two accounts that was set up for a new church in Sand Hill and Rev. Billy will ask the BOM to air mark an additional US$10,000 from their annual Easter offerings to the building of our new church, giving us a total of $40,000 BZE Dollars towards our building fund. The time they all spent with us was well appreciated and we look forward to another visit from them.
