Spirit's first win

On Saturday “Spirit” played their first game of the competition and came out victorious. Yeahhh!! They beat Lake Independence Baptist Church by 22 points. Joe McKoy scored a total of 32 points. Impressive!! Overall it was a good game and all our guys played very well. They also looked very nice in their new jerseys and quite a bit of fans came out to shout for them and watch them play. Next week’s game will be more challenging for them as they will be playing the “Saints” who is the only undefeated team in the competition. I think for this one they will need a little more prayers than the last one. But seeing that this is a Christian competition the “Saints” will be praying too so let’s see how it goes…
