Travelling Singspiration

Our monthly singspiration service is held on the fourth Sunday night of every month. For the month of April we were invited to visit the Port Loyola Baptist Church in Belize City. This church had visited our church a number of times before so it was now time for us to return the favor. Our bus picked up those who wanted to go around 6:00 p.m. and we all took off to be there for their service which began at 7:00 p.m. They had invited another church to join us as we sang worship songs together and shared. Our church shared some songs as a group and others had individual items which they had prepared. Overall we really enjoyed the time spent fellowshipping with these churches and getting to meet new people with whom we can form lasting Christian relationships. Visiting other churches was something that we had been planning to do for some time now but had never really gotten around to actually doing it. We hope to do this more often now as opportunities like these allow us to grow as a church through the experience of others and also from merely being exposed to an environment different from ours. And knowing that we have added to our list a new church which we can visit and know that will receive a hearty Christian welcome it makes it even more appealing. Thanks Port Loyola for your invitation; we really enjoyed our visit and we hope to do it again sometime soon.
