Conference 2008

The annual Belize Methodist Protestant conference was held on July 25th and 26th in Sand Hill. Five of the seven churches in our conference were represented, Sand Hill, San Lazaro, Hattieville, Fire Burn and Guinea Grass. Everything went well and we were blessed to have the President of our General Conference, Rev. Ladon Dawson, with us. He took the opportunity to share with us and gave us the opportunity to communicate to him our vision for the Belize conference. Rev. Claudio Leal was elected as the President of the Conference, Mr. Oswin Blease was re-elected as the Treasurer and we have a new secretary. We very were please to see Ms. Selina Sanchez from San Lazaro accept her nomination as conference Secretary. Please continue to pray for this conference as there is much room for growth within the churches represented.
