Harvest 2008

Harvest Thanksgiving was also celebrated in October. On the 19th Pancotto Primary School held its annual harvest. Although our country had been experiencing torrential rains for weeks on ends we were still able to have this service, rain and all. Parents came out to show their support for the kids who were presenting their gifts of thanks and we were blessed to have Rev. Mark Lambert (seems weird as we normally say Bro. Mark) as our guest speaker this year. However, this guest speaker was a little different than most as his sharing was done in five minutes tops. I guess he felt sorry for everyone who had been sitting down and watching all 240+ students present their gifts and decided it was best to just offer them a short blessing rather than keep them any longer. Thanks for your consideration Bro. Mark. Although I am sure we would have enjoyed your sermon we were very tired form sitting down for all those hours.
